Title: picking up my chinchilla

Snickerdoodle seems to despise being held. He kicks whenever i pick him up.  :'( I know I'm not hurting him. Could this just be that i have a very independent chin?

mine is like that too sometimes i take like 5 minutes to catch her and she almost always squeaks but of all my 3 chins she is the only one that jumps all os the places , my head , my sholder but i have her at almost two years .

how many time do you have yours?
