Title: Bedding
Post by: gasaraki03 on October 08, 2012, 05:21:27 PM
I know few people have said they don't use carefresh and don't suggest it. So was wondering what do they use instead pine?

I am using kiln dried pine bedding with Blue. I live in a fairly confined space and notice no smell. I clean the cage and replace it about every four days.

I use fleece lining, easy to clean and wash. My chin doesn't chew it and I'm not constantly spending money on the bedding, I can spoil him in other ways!!

Tried a small amount of pine and one seems to like it since hes laying in his litter box so had to make a cardboard box with pine since didnt want him sitting in his pee.

Is this a good pine since wanted to see whats available and easy to get.
Googled Kiln pine and this is what came up.

I use carefresh natural and find that snickerdoodle chews it only when he is bored--- it rarely happens.
