 ::silly:: ::silly:: ::silly::Pepper thinks I'm a bed apparently, so I just wanted to get everyone else's opinions, since I know chins aren't lap pets

That's great. My chinchilla is actually a lap pet. They can be trained but only the ones whose personalities lend to that. At certain times a day even a rambunctious chinchilla may become sleepy enough to do that.
