Title: I got engaged this weekend.

My boyfriend has been asking me for a while to get married, but I never really took him seriously. He showed me just how serious he is this weekend. He put down a deposit on a ring. :) I need to get a picture of it. We need to pay $600 more and then I'll have it on my finger. We've been trying to save money, so we are going to have a small wedding. Probably a Las Vegas wedding and then a nice party at home.  :) I need to start looking for dresses. Good thing I just started my diet. ha ha. I'm excited. We don't know when we'll set the date yet.

Thank you! I think we are going to plan for next year in the fall.  :::grins:: That will give us lots of time to research wedding packages and save for the reception. I want something simple, so I want to find just a simple white dress, nothing elaborate. Just a few family and friends at the ceremony and then a nice party to celebrate with everyone. :) I can't wait to get my ring.  :2funny: It's so pretty. :) I'm going to have to take a ton of pictures of it.

Congrats.  Its exciting to be engaged. I should know, Ive been engaged for 3 years now!  Hahahhahaha.  We havent had time to plan or pay for a wedding and just bought a house so its really tight now.

We might do Vegas too and a reception at home.  Gorgeous ring. Is that with the wedding band in the picture too?
