HI, my name is Toby and I am new here.
Here are my 3 chinchillas.
They are:
gum gum, male, 2 years old.
mui mui, felmale, 5 years old.
one one, felmale, around one year old.
Their name sound strange because their name are traslated from Chinese directly.
Their meaning in English:
gum gum: a little golden boy
mui mui: a lovely little girl
one one: the first chinchilla

::wave:: Hi there and welcome Toby! It is very nice to meet you. Your chinchillas are very sweet and you have taken beautiful pictures of them, these pictures are WONDERFUL!!!!! You are a good photographer. I also love the names you gave them.
I took in a chinchilla from a girl that was originally from Hong Kong and now lives here in the states. She could not keep her chinchilla because she moved and could not have it where she went. The chinchilla's name is "Mochi" and I believe that she said it meant ice cream in Chinese, am I right. Maybe it meant light coffee ice cream, but I have forgotten exactly what she said.
I have 32 pet chinchillas (I do not breed), 3 dogs and 5 cats!

holy smokes Joyce....32 chins and you don't breed? How do you keep them from....breeding? I think that's awesome they are all pets! Is there a reason you choose not to breed? I'm totally curious....

"Mochi" : if only translate the meaning of the word , it means a little funny thing or a furball :)
