Title: Cloe's got the sniffles
Post by: vixie416 on July 28, 2007, 04:15:37 PM
Hey, can someone help me??  I am looking for something to do, but obviously the vet is best, but until I can get there can someone suggest something for the sniffles?  Cloe's nose is wet and I don't know what I can do to cure it.  She keeps wiping her nose with her paws.  Can someone suggest something????

Thanks in advance.

Michelle ;)

That's a new one on me, but sound like a vet should check her out.

It sounds like either a respiratory infection or teeth problems.  Either way you will need a vet.  With colds/respiratory infection you need a vet ASAP.  If you don't get antibiotics quickly your chinchilla may not survive.

with tooth overgrowth you should notice the front teeth being angled and you chinchilla will have a hard time eatting things like raisins. It will be loosing weight.
