Other Pets / Daisy holding her pladder 6 hrs and now 4 hrs
« on: February 06, 2011, 06:06:49 PM »
Daisy is holding her paddler 6 hrs and now 4 hrs. My mom thinks its because this week i have been off school this week..She was holding it for 6 hrs and this past week she has only been holding it for 4 hrs. I do put her on my bed at night after I take her out in the middle of the night when she wakes me up. I know that is a bad habit. One day this week I put her back in her cage afterwords and 2 hrs later after taking her out she woke me up. Is this normal? She has been almost house broken for 2 weeks now.

Thanks!

Thanks andi it does.

We are already split. He's not making it easy for me to see my cats or get money from him. He said he is giving me money next week. If not I think I will have to take him to court. Even though I don't want to

I can't believe they cut the skin. That seems like it would be kinda hard to do that.

She also doesn't always come when I call her while we are outside. Its like she is in her own world then.

I know i am. I'm trying to leash train her, along with the other stuff, but don't think I really know how to do that.

Jhenderson27,

That is a good way of looking at it. Petsmart prices weren't bad, but i'd like to look around. There is prob someplace cheaper.

I might try a harness and see if that works better. She is usually pretty good with the collar, but she may like the harness better. I haven't been able to take her on many walks yet.

How hard and is it safe to groom your own dog vs taking her to a professional. The trimming around the eyes and such.

Does anyone know if for small dogs its better to have a harnest instead of a collor for going on walks and suck?

Other Pets / Re: wet food bad for a puppy? traning?

Thanks for all the advice. I hope to get her to sit and learn the word down this week. I will look at the ingredients of both the kinds of food. I was planning on feeding her less wet food, but she also needs to gain some weight and of course she likes the wet vs the dry. If I mix it together she just eats the wet.

I love huskies also!!

dianah, you must be busy with 3 dogs. Thats funny your one dog licks other dogs when they growl. Thats funny how smart some dogs are and can open the fridge and stuff.

Other Pets / wet food bad for a puppy? traning?

My dad read in a few traning books that wet food isn't nutrious. Does anyone know if thats true?

Daisy is almost house tranined. Is it better to wait till she is completly house trained before I try to train her to sit, and what not?

Any good training ideas would be great.

THANKS!

Thanks. I pretty much did know the answer. Now I'm kinda seeing this guy from school. Its not offically or anything. I just kinda happened. We hang out a few times a week, I spend the night once a week about. He still says he doesn't want to date me bc of our age difference. I'm 25 and he is 37. He talkes about going away for the weekend and we go out to lunch and dinner and he wants me to spend the night more.

Also, I found out bc of EVIL FACEBOOK that my ex is dating someone and he spend Christmas with his and her family and he didn't even tell me. I thought when we broke up things were kinda open.  We broke up right after thanksgiving. TO me that's quick.
