Aww. I'm sure she had a great life. My vet just said that he still shouldn't jump around to much after he got his cast off for a week or 2. I plan on calling monday to ask. I took him in friday but i was losing my voice so i didn't get a chance to ask some questions that i had for him.

i'v heard mixed things about that. I just let them roll around a few times. And then i take it out. Pogo's needed it to get his fur back to looking good. When his leg was broken he couldn't take a dust bath for about 2 months. I'v heard just to not leave it out for more then 15 mins. The dust bath is ushaly in there just a few mins. Some times its not everyday. I'll have to see what the vet says. I never thought they could get it. Or never thought about that

I was wondering how long to wait before letting a chin that had a broken leg run on a saucer? His leg has been healed since the middle of sept. But he needed to take it easy still till the end of sept. it was his hind leg and it needed pins put in inorder for it heal. It has healed great. He is using it fine and getting around like it has never happened. He is back to getting into trouble. I'v been wanting to let them run on the saucer again, I was thinking if letting them today, but still iffy about.

I took my little guy to the vet bc i thought he had flees. they treated for it even though they didn't see anyone. The vet said he had dander. I was wonder what causes that and how to prevent it. I just asked if it could be caused by the dust bath. He said it could. I have been using the same kind. I let them have one every day. My other chin is white so i don't see any on him, but it would be real hard to tell also. I'll prob call monday as ask some questions. I'v been losing my voice and yesterday when I took him i was in a hurry so i could get to my doctor.

that is right. They aren't getting the ink. I'm sure if i let them, they'd destroy it in a few mins and i'd have a fun mess to clean up. If you don't want them to chew on it, couldn't you put it on the floor? Make sure they aren't chewing on the cloth. I used to do that and i noticed them chewing on it. I use fleese now.

I was wondering if its safe for them to eat a little bit of newspaper? I read to them, the comics and they try to eat the newspaper. I try to not let them. Just wondering if its ok if they get a little bit every now and then or if i should try to be extra safe.

Jmdebb, its Steph. I hope that when I have a house I can find one that has a real fireplace in them. I love them and that smell of the wood burning. It really does heat the first floor.

Your welcome. The hay holder i use is actually a bird feeder. I forget what its called. Its rectangle, and has the little square holes through out it. I know i prob just confused you.

huh, that is a good question. Always be better to be papered in case a storm is coming. We all do relay on power too much. I am lucky that my parents have a real fireplace so i could always move them down in the family room if the power went out in the winter.

When i had the hay just lose in there cage they would pee on it sometimes, but now that I have a hay holder, they can't pee on it so they just eat it. You could try a hay holder.
