General Chat / The Realistic and Objective Description of Chin Temperament

Thank you to any and all with feedback on the following. . . I am considering getting a dwarf Chinchilla and have done a fair amount of reading. Would love to hear from Chinchilla companion lovers on what one can expect in terms of general Chin temperament. I know there are individuals differences but do believe that there are some important characteristics which they share. My reading would so far suggest that I might want to two consider two dwarfs rather than one. I am interested in hand rearing especially if it makes the difference which is so often seen with hand reared/fed birds. I'm also guessing that a baby is better to start if one wants physical contact with a Chin. I really appreciate your thoughts.
