They are kind of like a flying squirrel. But they are not classified as rodents. Go to google and type in sugar glider. You will see a picture of them. Or you can look at mhy pictures on myspace.
I guess some couples are like that. Whats funny is that for valentines day my husband got me a 6 ft tall cage for my 2 sugar gliders. But it was exactly what I wanted. I am not into jewelry and things like that, but don't get me wrong I wouldn't turn it down if it were given to me.
I would love to meet people on here from or near Georgia who have chinchillas. It is so nice to have friends nearby. From what I have read so far and from some of the replies I have gotten to my posts on here the people here are tremendously helpful and friendly.
Well since they have already had playtime together and have a clean bill of health from the vet is is alright to allow them to start living together? And I am reading everything I can find on chinchilla mating and I seem to have everything in order and have since gotten a new cage with closer bar spacing. So mom and kits will be alright once they are born.
That is good to know because i have a roomy bathroom and a long hallway so they could play for hours between the bathroom and the hallway. And I would be there to supervise and I have my toilet already chin/sugar glider proofed because I have 2 of each. But they all bring so much joy to me and I love them all equally. So they would not get into the toilet and that is a relief.
