Q & A / Re: New Chin Owner - NEED ADVICE!!!
« on: March 17, 2010, 04:50:30 AM »
contratulations on new pet!
I've also bought a chin occasionally!
I came to the store for a degu (which is rather rare animal in shops) & saw the degu sitting together with a chinchilla! they were about 3month old, so friendly & cute! only there I discovered that chins have no nails to scratch us)) I fell in love & bought them both http://www.chinchillaclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,2495.0.html))

hmm, I don't even think of making him pee in a specially designated place and fill the cage tray with wood scrap and no problem!
by the way, for some reason he never pees when walking&jumping in the room, just poo's all around as usual))

Guestbook / greet my chinchill+degu

Hi everyone!
I wanna share my rare experience to you. I keep chinchilla (male) and degu (female) in one big cell, I've bought them in pet store where they were living for a month together (now they are 10months old). As they have almost the same habits and ration I see no problem in keeping them side by side))
They never quarrel, neve bite each other or people..
Here they are, just unpacked

sleeping together on one another

drinking a lot after breaking the drinker and making a flood))

driving the cat crazy by jumping around

stealing our tea

if U're interested in more click here -- I post many photos))

By the way, the cat has no aggression to them! Just watching, wondering and trying to run away))
