General Chat / I just can't figure out...

I have 1.5years old female chinchilla who is very healthy and active. 3 month ago I got male baby chinchilla for my birthday who was about 2-3 month at that time. He seemed very healthy and happy. I housed my chinchillas separate, but tried to introduce each other. I read many articles on line how to introduce chinchillas, and it seemed to work out. After 2 weeks they didn't have any aggressions toward each other and I let them play together. After 2 month, I started to house them together. They got along well, just sometimes would fight over the food, because they didn't wanted to share. But it looked normal to me. One day I came back from work and I found little one dead. He was just frozen 
First think on my mind was that my other chinchilla attacked him or did something to cause his death…But there were no wounds or any kind of sign of attack. What may cause his death? He was very young, and didn't look sick. I found him dead in the house, lying on the side. Is it possible that he had a heart stoke or some illness?? I just can't figure out why he died
