Q & A / Re: Not interested in bath.

I also have a chinchilla I got from a breeder that does not love to take baths and her fur shows it. The only thing that has worked is to place a larger bowl with dust and walk away. or go out for a bit. only way she will touch it.

Q & A / Re: Wet Chinchilla HELP!!!

The soap was peach colored, but it landed on her back. I used a damp cloth to get most of the soap off and then used a blow dryer on a cooler setting to dry her. I was just not sure if her crotch was a related issue.

Q & A / Wet Chinchilla HELP!!!
« on: April 12, 2012, 04:53:16 PM »
Adventure of the night: Chili my 4 month chinchilla fells into a bucket of water. So I brought her in the bathroom to clean her up and our automatic soap dispenser goes off and spills soap all over her. Wtf. Had to re wet her and blow dry her. Hope no fungus appears. I scheduled a vet appointment because I am scared because I noticed her butt is yellow. It could be just pee. Just a worried Chinn Momma :(

Today when Chili was out of her cage, it sounded like she was grinding her teeth or making some kind of clicking noise. What does that mean?

This might be a odd question. I have seen it mentioned differently in several places. Is the supplement a daily thing or 1-2 times per week?
