Cages / recycled cage safety

Hey, everyone. In searching for a new cage for my 2 chinnie girls, I've come upon one that I absolutely LOVE. It is homemade, and it is constructed from dried whit pine (yay!) and has excellent climbing levels, is over 6 feet high, and...really exactly what I want. Here's my reservation, though: It was previously the home of an iguana. What do you think the dangers might be in icky bacteria the previous inhabitant might have left behind? Is it safe to try to clean it up, or should I pass on this one? It looks VERY clean and well-maintained, by the way. But, iguanas carry bacteria that can't be seen, obviously. What do you think?
