I want her to hurry up & grow up so I can figure out what she is. I know that she's going to be a big girl... her dad was 1000+ grams her mom hoovers around 800g.

Yes she does have the stripes. I just don't understand why she's upside down as far as the TOV goes.

I keep waiting on her to get more white but her tummy keeps getting darker & so is her tail. She still has the little mask she was born with! I guess I'll be able to show her off in Nov. at the S.C. show

On his pedigree he's listed as a TOV Tan. If he were a brown velvet there would be no way to get a tan white. I pretty sure she's a tan white. I guess I will have to wait for a show. What's baffling me though is the dark tummy & tail & the lighter back.

I've got a kit that was born about 9 weeks ago. She is out of a mosaic female & TOV Tan male. She was born with a white mask over her eyes, a chocolate brown tail with a creamy coffee colored body. I thought that she would loose the dark tail & then start to get more white on her. WRONG!! I looked at her about a week ago & now her belly is turning a light chocolate too. Is there or could there be such a mutation as tan white reverse TOV? She looks like a TOV except its upside down... darker on bottom fading lighter to the top. She's very beautiful too

Has anyone heard any more info on this show? I've emailed Ann Ingram a couple of times with no luck. I am just trying to get everything planned out as far as hotels & getting off of work.

I was just looking at the MCBA site as well as Empress to see if there were any updates on the sites for shows. To my surprise I noticed that there was a show scheduled in November in SC. I was so excited. Ann Ingram is going to be the judge. I believe it's in Fort Mill (because the venue is Fort Mill Field Trial Barn). If anyone has a contact or any additional information I'd love to get it from you!

UGH!! It's great that we are able to get a chapter started & have shows & conferences but... I can't go to this one 
I've got to take some of my horse back riding students to a horse show that weekend in Conyers, GA... I'm so bummed! I hope that ya'll will have another meeting soon!

I'm going to contact the lady about permits etc that I need to do a protest legally.
I know what you mean... if you don't know ANYTHING at all about them... DON'T even think about getting them in your store. A girl wrote me about chinchillas & said she went to the Petco to see their chinchillas. She said she was horrified when the employee reached in & grabbed the chin around the belly & pulled half of it's fur out. Then she asked him how often they dusted their chins... he said, "we don't, he mist them with water when they are dirty"... OMG... it's so frusterating but I want to get them out of there. Plus I was in Petsmart buying some ledges & things & the woman asked what kind of animals we were buying for... I told her chins... then she said the manager is talking with a chin supplier to get chins in their store!!! UGH!! I'm all worked up just thinking about it!
