chin travel case
« on: January 04, 2008, 02:23:52 PM »

Hi peoples! I am taking my chin to the vet for her first ever check up! I am so excited for her, but want to take her in a carrying case if possible. She has never been out of the house except once when she was brought home.
Do any of you know safe nice traveling cases. I think just a box will freak her out. I like to spoil her.

Any smaller animal carrier would be fine just as long as it is hard and not those mesh ones they tend to not flow enough air through them.  I use a rabbit carrier that is a little smaller than a cat carrier, I line it with a towel and put some hay and a travel water bottle in and away we go!

I generally use a wire mouse cage (not a plastic one!) with all the shelves taken out, however Cheech knows how to get out of this now...
