Saying Goodbye to Schroeder
« on: November 17, 2009, 01:05:57 PM »

Schroeder Lee Chinchilla passed away last night.
He was barely over 2 years old, but had gotten sick. Not even the vets knew what was wrong or how to help him. He battled it for 4 weeks straight before he gave up. He was a strong little guy.
I miss him, but I'm at peace knowing he isn't suffering any longer. So many hours spent forcing random remedy mixes down him with a syringe. So many belly rubs. So much money, time, frustration, and tears.

May Angels Lead you in, baby Schroedzee!

(There are a few pictures of him in my album)

::silly::  Schroeder has crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join all those who have gone before him.
He is in a better place now.

Schroeder was so young and beautiful, it is hard to understand what could have happened. The picture of him in the wheel is my favorite, and it shows his sweet little face. He looked happy and loved, and I know he still is while he waits at the Rainbow Bridge for you.

Thank you. I love that picture too. It was his first exercise wheel, he came from a bad situation and never had one before and he loved it! He also loved him hammock! He was always so appreciative of his new things, it made spending money on him easy. He was such a lovable boy.

If Schroeder came from a bad situation before you got him, I am so glad that he had some good quality time with nice things at the end. He was so beautiful and sweet, and I am sure too that he appreciated the nice things and love you gave him. I know how hard it is as I still miss my Billy so much, but Schroeder is waiting for you at the end of the Rainbow Bridge.
