Seizure in chins
« on: June 18, 2010, 06:08:38 AM »

What are the signs and/or symptoms of a chin that is having a seizure?  The reson I ask is I got out my mosaic male the other day and he seemed to be shaking and his heart felt like it was racing, is this a sign?  Thanks

There are many different types of seizures.  Each one is caused by a different problem and presents differently.  This website explains them in detail:

With that said, chinchillas will vibrate when they are nervous.  Blacks seem to do it even when they are aren't nervous (more so than other mutations)
