1. Can chinchillas fly on planes? Or will the air pressure hurt them?
2. I'm going to Florida in a week (my father refuses to let me stay behind no matter how many times I asked) and leaving Snix at my NYC apartment  :(. A good friend will be playing with him nightly. Will Snix forget me for the week that I'm gone?
3. How stressful will my trip be to my chin? He'll have someone he knows caring or him, but will he notice that we're gone and miss the love we give him?

I just went to Florida my self a week ago but i didn't take mine with but to answer you 2nd question at least mine seemed the same as when i left and when i came back after a week they didn't forget me.

I do know travel is very stressful for them and usually easier for them to stay with someone else.

Chinchillas can fly, but it is better for your chinchilla to stay at home with your friend caring for him.  He won't forget you while you are gone.  :)

We ended up dropping him off at the vet. He was terrified! Did he think I was abandoning him?
