screech while scratching?
« on: July 18, 2008, 06:22:57 PM »

Hi all. :::grins::

Lulu sometimes let's out a short screetch, like you're saying the "c" in the word "Cat", over and over, in rhythm with my scratches.  I used to think it meant she liked it, especially on her butt!  Now, I'm not so sure.  Sometimes she'll move so that I'm not scratching her anymore when she makes that noise.  It's pretty loud.

Just wondering if anyone else has had experienced same/similar noises with their chinnie and know what it means.

Thanks!

That sounds like the squack type noise they make when they are annoyed.  It's the chin version of "Hey! Quit that!" I have a few that do the same thing if I touch their whiskers when I scratch them.  It might be she kind of likes the scratches but is sensitive about a certain spot being touched.
