Chinchilla Evolution

I’m not sure why I have been thinking about this, but I’m starting to think that chinchillas are somehow linked to the human evolution ring.  I've been thinking a lot about their little hands and how similar those are to human hands.  Has anyone else ever thought about this?

I have never even given it a thought as they are SOOOOOO genetically different than us there is no way they are possibly related to us.

Just the hands seem quite similar, minus the thumbs.  I was thinking about this last night
