They gave pogo .1 cc, which is one syringe a day for pain. I think its a sedative.

It is not a sedetive it is a pain killer

yup, star is correct, some type of pain killer

when my Dillion [husky/shep] was alive he had arthritis and i started him on the lowest strength pain killer/arthristis meds they had, and when it didn't work, i just moved up to the next strongest.. medatacam was the last drug he was on, and it worked great.

Yep, Cheech is on this. I don't use cc measurement in England (because we're not with the times!) but Cheech is on 0.33ml a day for her broken arm. Well she's got Loxicom but it contains the same active ingredient (Meloxicam I believe). It's a pain killer and anti inflammatory, usually used for dogs but chins and rabbits use it too. Although they need a lot more per kilo of their body weight.

I did. He broke his back leg

oh okay, i do remember reading somethign about a chin breaking his leg.. so then they were able to save it? thats good if they did

Its not fixed yet, so that may be a dif post. Mine has to have pins put in. He is still at the vet.

 Mine has to have surgery again. THe blind pin didn't work, so they are going to try the straight pin

Hope all goes well. Make sure they give you painkillers to take home and give daily or twice daily.
