Hi, my name is Kassaundra and I am finally the proud owner to a grey chinchilla. Two days ago, Gallardo came home and into my life. All puffy and cute (lol).

This chin may be my very first one ever, but I do have to say I really enjoy the joy he is brining to me. I love this little guy so much already!

I have looked at your site and I will definately be purchasing some food from you. You have a lot of very very useful information! It's a perfect guide! I was given a bag of the Kaytee Fiesta Chinchilla food and I had no idea it is unhealthy for them.

I have looked at your site and I will definately be purchasing some food from you. You have a lot of very very useful information! It's a perfect guide! I was given a bag of the Kaytee Fiesta Chinchilla food and I had no idea it is unhealthy for them.

the only two foods that i have ever heard of that some pet stores carry and is good quality is Oxbow Chinchilla Delux and Mazuri.. Who know maybe there are other stores in other states that my have something else, but mostly the pet stores chinny supplies are very unsafe.. so just be careful.. and i'm not saying this so you buy from "ME"  there are many other pet websites that have safe chinny stuff.. but i do want to make a point of letting you and anyone else new that doesn't know this.. most items at pet stores  are unsafe for chinnies,, even if they say CHIN SAFE.. especially those big plastic balls they can run around in.. please do not get one, they can kill your chinchilla by making him over heat.

Congrates! I'm a fairly new owner to and I can tell you there are no other animals like chins, I've owned numerous ones and non are as delightful and 'stimulating' as they are, your going to be delightfully surprised!

I cannot find any of those foods at my pet stores. =(
I promise you that I will never buy my little Gallardo one of those running balls. I love seeing him jump and bounch off walls too much to even think about putting him in a plastic ball. He could not be happy in one.

I find myself having to say, "Okay, do not disturb the chinchilla until this evening," because I'm noticing that I just wanna play with him all day! I need to let the little bugger sleep. He is just too cute and sweet to leave alone.
