Shapes of toys

I have noticed that Snickerdoodle prefers the cylinder and cube- shaped wood blocks. Is there any reason for this? Just curious...

What other shapes are there? Could it be the others are harder to grasp?

I mean I would think that cylinders are harder to grasp. They easily slip out of his little hands. But he loves them!

My guys like cylinder shaped ones better than square blocks of wood.
