BEDDING AND SHELVING HELP!!!
« on: July 04, 2013, 12:55:25 PM »

There is so much controversy about what kind of woods to use and not use that I don't know what is safe. Right now i have shaved pine bedding should I be using something else? Also i want to build shelves and huts for Barnaby but I want to use the safest wood possible. Please can someone clear everything up? ::shrug:: :-\

Kiln dried white pine or aspen chips are proven to be safe. It is the only bedding I would trust. Cedar chips are to be avoided.

Untreated pine boards are great for making shelves.
