Accomplishments

While I wasn't online, Otis and I made some accomplishments together!

He let me play with his paws!
He didn't get spooked when I came to the cage!
He runs up to me now!
He lets me pet him while in his cage!
He lets me play tug-of-war with him with pieces of hay!

And the best accomplishment is...

When I open the door to the cage, he runs out onto my lap and lets me hold him for, like, 10 minutes without him squirming!

Then again...

HE LETS ME HOLD HIM!

Oh, I'm so happy!!! I think I have to do this:

It's a wonderful feeling isn't it? That patience and persistence can bring you so much, that a prey animal that perceives you as a  threat will willingly trust you. Nothing beats it.  :)

It feels so good! I have a new accomplishment, too.

He came to the edge of the cage when I started practicing for my band!

It was so cute. In his cage is this little tunnel. He poked himself through and went to the edge of the cage.
