I have two girls.  I haven't been able to figure out what kind of chins they are, I just know their colour.  I have Mononoke (who we call M'noke, named after the Japanamation movie Princess Mononoke, and Kira, named after a character in the old Jim Henson movie The Dark Crystal (my favourite movie of all time).  I think M'noke is a standard chin, as she's grey.  But kira is silvery, with red eyes and pink ears.  Don't know what kind she is yet. I"ve tried looking it up, but get a bit confused  ???

I have one standard and his name is Pico (pronounced like pee - ko).  Thought it sounded cute and South Americanish.

We only named one of our chinchillas, Chinchi, a beautiful beige.  My kids named her.  The other 3 already had names when we got them.  Hamlet, a sapphire male, Monique a mosaic, and Gizmo a standard.
