Well, this evening I decided to lay on the floor with a few alfalfa-treat pieces, and see what Lulu would do.  She's forgiven me all my harassment the past week!  Lulu was climbing all over me, sniffed my eye, and let herself be scratched before using me as a launch pad and doing a few laps around my apartment.  Then she came back for more!     That's my girl!

Yay! Well if she's coming to see you and she has the whole apartment to explore she must like you.

I let her out earlier and she was hopping all around, took a nap under the dresser, and then came out looking for me.  I was typing on my computer and she made that soft peeping sound for me to join her on the floor!  As soon as I lay down, she was all over me!  She's so cute!

Hi everyone!  Just an update on me and the Lu.  She's great!  I've stuck to her schedule and we're getting along so well.  I've taught her to hop on my shoulder and head, and she sits with me and watches tv (for 30 second intervals mind you).  She calls to me to play with her on a regular basis and lets me scratch her all over.

I've ordered her a flying saucer that should be here today and I'm so excited to set it up for her.  She never 'got' the other wheel, she only slept in it.  She absolutely loves the oats I give her as treats now, and it's great she thinks she gets so many!

Thanks for all of your support and advice during our tough times.  Now we're bff!

Congratulatoins!  That's great.  Isn't it a nice feeling when that happens.  My M'noke is sittingon my shoulder for maybe 60 seconds (she gets a raisin for it!) and kira lets me give her little scratches.  I can't wait for a few months down the road when we're all buds!  YOu must be feeling really good, hard work does pay off!

Sounds like you have a chinny that loves you.  The flying saucer that you are getting for her isnt made out of plastic is it tho?

No, it's metal.  I just finished putting it up in her cage, with minimal swearing.  I don't have a mesh style cage, it has horizontal bars about one inch apart, with 5 vertical bars spaced evenly on the width, and 3 on depth.  So it took some bending of those bars, but it worked out just fine.  I can't wait until she gets in her cage and figures it out!  She's on my lap now.  She likes to sit there or on my feet when I'm on the computer.  So cute!
