Play Pens!

Ok so I want a playpen for my little girl to play in and so that I know she is in a safe environment atleast until she is 100% comfortable with me! I've seen the ones in pet store's but they dont seem tall enough so i found on on-line but it was quite expensive plus shipping! I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get on or a good safe way to make one!!! Thanks!!! ;)

Well, you can make one easily enough with plywood and steel corner brackets.  BUT, it will be fairly heavy and not easy to put away, so it's pretty much a permanent fixture in your home.  My husband and I made one that could be folded flat to put it away, but it was so heavy and bulky that we never did.  I eventually got rid of it and bought a midwest pen, which I love.
