  But not for the intended us...but for a ledge to nap on... I at first thought one of them was using it. Due to my seeing droppings on it. But...I reckon it's from nappy times instead. 

I've not seen anyone use it so far...when we first placed it in...they would jump on it and spin off. But I've seen them sit on their back legs...and use their front legs to turn the wheel. Like..."Hugh, it moves" But that's about as much action it's gotten so far.

But I know that it takes a bit of time for them to get used to it. So...until then...it's a great place for a nap.

Camera battery is dead...I'll have to charge it. I'll try to remember once they are charged.

Well Nibbles figured it out...  Woo~Hoo!!!  I'm so relieved that he figured it out...for we purcased a humid hide for the snake that was $$$ that he won't go in...but loves to hide behind.  I was a tad worried that they would grasp this flying saucer once I put it in. But Nibbles got it figured out. I'm curious as to how long Fluffy will watch before attempting. 

Happy that it's more than just a bed...but glad that it serves that purpose too.

Really? We put it in on the 22nd in the evening...So less than a week and he's figured it out on our end. I love how secure it is! It makes hardly any noise mounted to the ferret nation cage system. It's twice as sweet with us and the incident with Nibbles and Fluffy and Nibbles being hurt. That he's bounced back...when I think of the alternative...I just can bawl...That he's runnin' on the flying saucer and is up to it...and enjoying it. Is twice the hoopla in our home.

Yah I have it mounted in the ferret nation cage right now, but it is their "play time cage" and not their sleepy time one.  I still need to finalize the modifications.  I just got the stainless steel pans made and just need to build the slide out portion

I'm not sure if your talking the ferret nation cage...or the sleepy time cage that your having pans made...We have bass equipment pans. They are not stainless steel...but our chins use the litter box to go pee. So the pans are not showing any signs of use...where the urine really breaks down trays.
