Breeding pair and new neighbors?
« on: September 03, 2010, 09:39:04 PM »

I have four chins. Two per cage, and I have my cages layered. So one on top of the other. My standard pair that I bought together have had two litter of kits. And by now they should be due for another litter, but my question is will they stop breeding for a while if they have neighbors they are not used to? When they had their first two litters with me they we liveing at my boyfriends place, until I was able to make room for them at mine. So I was just wondering if new neighbors would change anything?

it doesn't usually. I change animals around here all the time and it does not seem to change the rate of production
