Daisy holding her pladder 6 hrs and now 4 hrs
« on: February 06, 2011, 06:06:49 PM »

Daisy is holding her paddler 6 hrs and now 4 hrs. My mom thinks its because this week i have been off school this week..She was holding it for 6 hrs and this past week she has only been holding it for 4 hrs. I do put her on my bed at night after I take her out in the middle of the night when she wakes me up. I know that is a bad habit. One day this week I put her back in her cage afterwords and 2 hrs later after taking her out she woke me up. Is this normal? She has been almost house broken for 2 weeks now.

Thanks!

You mean she is not peeing much?
They don't drink much so they don't pee much.
Usually they will pee when they wake.

Yeah, sorry. I was drinking during the super bowl...

Ok, so you think she is waking up in her cage and that is why she whines?  When i put her in my bed instead of the cage, she sleeps all night long and doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night.

She has figured out that when she whine you will let her in your bed.

She will only whine for a few days and then she will stop.  Having a dog is like having a 2 year old that never grows up.  they cant have everything they want and they will eventually learn.  :)

She doesn't whine anymore when I put her back in her cage which is good, but she is still waking me up every 3 hrs. She does have to go when she wakes me up. She is only ushaly in her cage at night. Anything I can do to help her hold it longer?
