I’m a new chinchilla mommy so when my chinchilla had seizures my family and I panicked. We haven’t brought him to the vet because we heard he could get more seizures from stress. When we got him his old owners gave us the food they were using, which was unhealthy because of the treats and crackers in it. We changed his diet to Oxbow essentials which is much healthier, so we heard. We know that he doesn’t have elipsey or a birth disorder and his old owners never had problems like this. He had his fourth about a week ago and he he’s had one seizure per month since April, if I did the math right. If you know any informantion, please share! Thank you!
