Hansome little fella!  Sure does look like a TOV Tan.  And with the family history, their's a good chance of it.

Mom is a black velvet and Dad is a beige.

I foregot  dad has ebony in his ped. The greatgrandma.

 
Then, the daddy would definitely be an ebony carrier and from the looks of the kit's belly, so is the kit.

What color is the daddy's belly?  White or beige?

Since the daddy's belly is beige and not a white belly, and you know that there is ebony in the family ... daddy is a tan, not a beige.  Beige chinchillas have a white belly.  Do you have a picture of daddy you could post?

That's right he is a tan. I always call him beige,But he is tan. I have no clue has to why I do that! Old age (lol)     I have a old one from last year,I need to take new one's. But you get the pic. This one makes him look darker than he really is.
