I though I'd start a new thread for the gals celebrating new baby's.
They grow up so fast, and change so much in that first year it's amazing.
Things have changed so much from when I was having kids.
We would start feeding Pablum/cereals at 6 weeks, now they wait 6 months.
Baby's seem so much bigger, grow faster, and are ahead in development.
Is it because we don't coddle them as much.
Lets talk Baby's and share pics.
Jo Ann get Amanda to post a new pic of Jillian, and Jacqui lets see some of your darling little Noah.
Here's Colby at 11 weeks.
He coos and caas all the time now. Loves the sound of his own voice. Hold his little hands, let him stand on your lap, and he'll walk right up your chest.
He bats at his hanging toys, and loves his mobile.
This is a pic of him after a feeding, we call it the drunk on boobie look.

You are right about growing up fast.....the cooing sounds babies make are precious!

I had Jacob's picture taken on a faux fur rug when he was a baby!

 I love the one where he is sleeping and moves the blanket in such a way that he tickles his lips with the tag of the blanket and must think it's a bottle.      That is so cute!

I'll see if Amanda will post some pictures of Jillian ... in the meantime ... I'll post two of my favorites ... Amanda said I could show her off.

Isn't she precious, just look at that smile, and those eyes. So dreamy, she'll keep her Dad busy with the suiters in years to come.
Colby is 11 weeks now,born on Feb 15, 2007. Jillian was born on the 28th. Their pretty close eh!
They seem to be doing much of the same things, though I believe Jillian sleeps more.
Colby fights sleep to the max, like he could miss something, or heaven for bid he'd wake and not see his Mom.
He tries so hard to roll over and gets very frustrated because he can't.
He knows what his tongue is and how to stick it out.
They learn so fast.
It's just way to much fun being a Granny.

Hi everyone!
Thanks JOAnn for posting those pics of Jillian...I will try to add a few more pictures that were taken in the past 2 weeks
Jillian is doing great...like Debbie said, she is doing pretty much the exact same things that Colby is doing.  She loves to play with her tongue and stick it out at us, she "talks" all the time and just like Colby, she is so close to rolling over that all she needs to do is just push a bit more and she has it, but gets frustrated when she doesn't do it right away and then screams (just like me, no patience).  Everyone keeps telling us that she screams louder than any other baby they have ever heard, even their own.  Should I mention that when I was a baby, the doctor actually wrote L O U D on my file...guess another thing JIllian and I have in common.  Jillian will be 10wks this wednesday.  At her 2 month appt, she weighed in at 12lbs 3oz and had grown 2.5 inches since birth.

Awwww all the babies are so adorable!

They do get so big so fast Debbie.  I can't believe Noah is already almost a month old.  Where does the time go?

Yes Jillian has a beautiful smile, and I just love her eyes. Ya know I can see more of you in her now.
There's one of you and her on your shopping trip you can really see her Mom in her.
Colby looks like his Dad with his eyes open and like his Mom when he's sleeping, funny eh!

Can you believe Noah is a month old, and those little sneakers are priceless.
Likes his snuggly does he, it's the only way Laura gets anything done.
I wish sometimes Colby would take a pacifier. I'm sure we've bought 8-10 and he wants no part of them.
Next pix we'll get to see Noah's darling little face eh!
They sure seem so brighter to me  these days, I guess we don't coddle and bundle them up like we used to.

Oh Colby started singing this week, he hums along with his Mom and sings himself to sleep.
He loves making a noise and scrap his finger nails on the back of the couch, or give him a full chip bag to play with, he loves it.
It's such a joy to watch the learn new things.

Colby just had a weigh in and he's 15 pounds 12 onces @ 3 1/2 months old.

Noah just had a dr. appt for a rash on his face   It'll go away but it looks ugly to me.  But anyway, he was up to 10lbs!  At just six weeks old!  I couldn't believe it, thats a four lb. gain since birth.  Here is two pictures from today of him in his new seat.  And guess what, thats a BABY chinchilla with him!    3 months old the kit is.  I also got his FIRST REAL SMILE at me today on camera.  I'll post that picture too

As Debbie said, Jillian is rolling over both ways and she is talking up a storm! (more like babbling
She likes playing in her new baby pool and next week is her 4 month check up so we will see how much she has gained.

Noah is a cutie pie!  And don't you just love the bumbo chairs, they are great!

Debbie, any sign that Colby wants to start rolling over yet?  I can't believe how big he is...I am betting Jillian is going to be atleast 14lbs at her next checkup.

Debbie of course you may ask!  We had a son born August of 2005, and he passed away in December 2005 from SIDS or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.  I'm sure you've heard of it before though   So the wires go to a belt around Noah's chest and it monitors his heart rate and breathing, and if something were to happen that he would stop breathing it makes this PIERCING alarm that blows your eardrums   Its more just precautionary than anything.  So I can get some sleep at night   If you want to see pictures of Zachary, you can see them here:  www.rothermelsracingsupply.com/zachary.html and theres a short story as well

Colby is just adorable.  I love the little hat in your thumbnail picture!  I can just picture him playing with a chip bag as well, hey whatever they like!  The things you would never expect to be entertaining suddenly are
